With so many strong teams competing in this tournament each year, finishing in the top 16 in your age bracket is not an easy task.  In fact, it has only happened twice in the history of our club.    In 2006 our 13's Gold team qualified for the top 16 bracket and ended up finishing 11th.   Last year our 14's Gold team finished 15th.  This year three teams qualified to compete in the top 16 bracket.... 12's Gold (finished 15th), 13's Gold (finished 10th), and 15's Premier (finished 13th).   At one point our 15's premier team was seeded 1st after beating the number one seeded team in the tournament (Kern River 15's Elite).    Moving up from your original seed is also a goal for this tournament.  Both our 14's Gold team and our 16's Premier team competed well and each moved up and improved their seed.    Congratulations to all players and coaches on an incredible showing at this year's festival.
