With each match the team played better but by the end of the day they had finished at #11.  After finishing 2nd in pool play, the team had an opportunity to grab hold of the #2 seed by beating Asics/Athena but lost in two 23-25, 23-25. In the next match we came out strong and soundly beat Mid Valley 16 black 25-6,25-22.  It was a good win and puts us into the silver division where we have a great opportunity to move up to gold as the season progresses.

The team hit .285 thanks to some great setting by Hannah Stultz who connected on 115 assists.  Anna Chizum had 42 kills and hit at .348. Shelby Vasconcellos-Mattocks had 35 kills on the day and hit at .300.  Cierra Warren had a great day serving with 10 aces.  Overall, I believe we took a big step forward as we move into the young season.
