The 16s Red team held their 16th seed ranking after competing in the Power League Qualifier on Sunday. 

The team took second in their pool, winning each match in two games.  Their only pool play loss was to the number one ranked Rose City VBC.  Strong defensive efforts in the morning were lead by Claire Walker and Ashley George.

The afternoon matches were against #4 Oregon Juniors VBC and #9 Excel NW.  Despite losing both of the matches, the girls gave a good offensive and defensive effort and finished in the silver division.
The team is looking forward to their first friendship tournament on the 24th to prepare for the next power league in February.
